The power of one, if fearless and focused, is formidable, but the power of many working together is better.

KENNEDY CHARTER PUBLIC SCHOOL READING INITIATIVE

Harper's Hope 4*1 Foundation is excited to partner with Kennedy Charter Public School. Over the past year, we have had the opportunity to volunteer our time and resources with the staff and students. In the process, we were impressed with how the teachers are teaching students (most 90% poverty rate) to read at levels above their current grade level. To achieve this tremendous statistic does take time, energy, and funding; thus, Harper's Hope 4*1 Foundation has made it our initiative to use funds from this year's #Hopefortomorrow Celebrity Servers Dinner to donate to Kennedy Charter's reading program.

Mini teacher grants

Harper's Hope 4*1 Foundation is about creating programs that impact everyone involved. This year we would like to launch a new program- Mini Teacher grants! From our experience, we have found that many teachers struggle to afford many of the necessary items for their classrooms. We understand how important a child's success is related to the teacher's ability to teach; thus, we will be implementing a program that allows teachers to apply for mini grants during the school year. Stay tuned for more information.
